For centuries, Sheild Captain Aurelius has has stood Vigil from the Imperial Palace on Terra, watching the emperor’s vision for humanity slowly slipping away. Now, with the return of Roboute Guilliman and the launch of his Indomitus crusade, the Lord Commander had freed the Golden Legion from the old edicts and set them loose on the galaxy. Aurelius had spent decades standing stoically among the companions beside the Golden Throne, decades since he emerged as victor of the Blood Games among his own kind and longer since he had waged war against the daemons that attacked Terra at the opening of the Great Rift. There was no one more eager for a chance to exact vengeance on those that threaten his master’s realm.

    Now aboard the battle barge Judgement, at the head of the Auric Dawn shield company, Aurelius has set his sights on the hotly contested region of the Proxima Sector where his peerless warriors would be put to work against the endless masses of traitors, heretics and xenos that threaten the Imperium. He and his warriors are the will of the Emperor made manifest and they will swiftly punish any unfortunate enough to stand in their path.
